There weren’t a lot of blue skies for most of the event, but plenty of red, white and blue in the crowd and on stage at the City of Sequim’s Independence Day Celebration on July 4.
The civic party saw hundreds of locals and visitors of all ages flock to the field at the James Center for Performing Arts at north Carrie Blake Communtiy Park, enjoying patriotic tunes from the Sequim City Band, county classics from the Buck Ellard Band and rock favorites from Black Diamond Junction.
Capping the evening was a 16-minute fireworks show.
