Sequim riders hurt in June 28 PT crash

A Sequim motorcyclist and his passenger were injured in a two-vehicle collision near Anderson Lake Road, about five miles south of Port Townsend, on June 28.

According to the Washington State Patrol, 41-year-old Mark A. Throop of Sequim and passenger Robin Y. Tweter, 56, of Port Angeles, were traveling northbound on State Route 19, just south of Port Townsend and waiting to turn onto Anderson Lake Road.

According to the state patrol, their 2003 Harley Davidson was struck by a 2012 Honda CRV driven by Lucinda R. Hall, 54, of Port Townsend.

Charges of speed too fast for conditions are pending, the state patrol reported.
