Sequim woman to offer princess camp

National American Miss Washington 2008 shares secrets of the beauty pageant world

Harasyn Sandell, National American Miss Washington 2008, will offer a princess camp for girls ages 4-12 from Monday-Friday, July 21-25 at Lari-at Hall, 4018 S. Tiller Road, Port Angeles. At camp, girls will learn how to be a princess using Sandell’s knowledge of the beauty pageant world. Skills will be taught in interview, personal introduction and formal presentation, all of which will be exhibited in a final pageant where each participant will be crowned with her own crown and banner. Family and friends are welcome to watch the pageant. The cost of the camp is $55. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of books and toys for children in need throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Harasyn Sandell has been competing in pageants since the age of 8 and has won many awards and titles throughout the years. She is a graduate of Sequim High School and is a senior at Dominican University in San Rafael, Calif.
