The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office continues its pursuit of Andrew Donald Luquette, 31, and Ronnie Lee Bayley, 37, of Sequim, for alleged residential burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and theft in the first degree.

Sheriff deputies responded on March 5 to a call about two suspicious vehicles — a gray truck and red Jeep Cherokee — on Many Feathers Way, north of the City of Sequim. Deputies attempted to contact the driver of the gray truck, Drew Balch, before he sped off, resulting in a high speed chase and Balch’s arrest in Gardiner.

Shortly thereafter, the Sheriff’s Department received information that the red Jeep and its contents were stolen from a burglary that was allegedly committed by Andrew Luquette, Ryan Luquette, 34, and Ronnie Bayley.

On Thursday, March 6, deputies learned Andrew Luquette was seen in a red Jeep at another residence and unloaded its contents into a storage shed. Deputies obtained a search warrant and recovered several items that were reported stolen.

Today, Friday, March 7, the Jeep was discovered on a logging road near the 2900 block of Blue Mountain Road. Later, a citizen turned in a backpack that Ryan Luquette had allegedly stolen. He was arrested about an hour later at a residence on Many Feathers Way on an outstanding warrant, possession of stolen property and residential burglary.

Ryan Luquette was booked into the Clallam County Correctional Facility.

The Sheriff’s Department reports that all three suspects are known users of controlled substances, believed to be a motivating factor of the crime.

Andrew Luquette is described as 6 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 207 pounds.

Ronnie Bayley is describes as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
