Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation welcomed two new physical therapists this week. Jenna Smith and Marta Hahn will practice at the Sequim facility at 800 N. Fifth Ave., Suite 102.

Smith is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Hahn has a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a Master of Science in health and rehabilitation sciences with an emphasis on sports and orthopedics from the University of Pittsburgh. Hahn also completed a fellowship in sports medicine and has been practicing for approximately 18 years.

Smith’s professional interest lies in improving orthopedic conditions in the shoulder, back, hip and sacroiliac joint with manual therapy and patient-specific exercise programs.

“I enjoy working with patients who have balance and stability issues,” said Smith. “I am able to identify what contributing factors affect their balance and find ways to improve their condition, while decreasing their risk of falling.”

Hahn’s professional interests are in orthopedics and sports medicine but also in women’s health including treatment of incontinence and pelvic pain.
