Two vehicles collided around 2:15 p.m. on March 7 at the Cays Road and Woodcock Road intersection.
A young female driver with a two-year-old male passenger in a red Ford was struck by the causing vehicle in a silver Lexus with one 76-year-old female driver and two passengers, Clallam County Sheriff Sgt. Lyman Moores said.
The woman driving the red Ford was about to pull through the intersection when her vehicle was struck from behind by the silver Lexus, which failed to stop or slow down for the intersection and struck the Ford at approximately the speed limit. All persons in the vehicles sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital, Moores said.
The wreck blocked traffic in both directions for about 30 minutes. The 77-year-old female passenger in the silver Lexus was later found to have a minor fracture of her neck vertebrae. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
