Sequim Bay Yacht Club’s annual Reach for Hospice sailboat race is Saturday, Oct. 5, at John Wayne Marina. The public is invited to attend and join the event by sponsoring one of the sailboats with a small donation. All proceeds go the Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County program.

This year, Dorothy Miller of Crazy Horse Quilting has donated a quilt which will be raffled off at $5 per ticket or five tickets for $20. The winning ticket will be drawn at SBYC’s Christmas party on Dec. 11.

The winner need not be present.

Sequim Bay Yacht Club has been a major contributor to VHOCC for 20 years and has raised about $20,000 annually.
