Spring on the Olympic Peninsula is time for discovering creative pairings of new wine and cider releases with local artisan cheeses during the region’s annual Northwest Wine & Cheese Tour, set for 11 a.m.–5 p.m., May 2-3.
Ten wineries and cideries located in the peninsula towns of Sequim, Chimacum, Port Townsend and Port Angeles, and on Marrowstone Island welcome tour-goers.
Advance tickets for the self-guided tour are available online for $25 or $30 at the door of participating wineries. Tour tickets include wine and cheese tasting at all 10 wineries and cideries plus a commemorative wine glass.
Independently, each venue charges a $5 tasting fee.
