Effective immediately, the State of Washington Department of Health has closed recreational harvest all species of shellfish in Sequim Bay. Shellfish harvesting also is closed for Discovery Bay and the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Cape Flattery eastward to the Jefferson County line.

Dungeness Bay, however, remains open to shellfish harvesting. The closure includes no harvesting of clams (including geoduck).
