Keith Weyhmiller – Weyhmiller, 24, of Sequim, will have a Sept. 10 hearing on a motion by defense attorney Karen Unger to acquit by reason of insanity. He is facing charges of second-degree assault and first-degree attempted rape.
Sean David Kennedy – Kennedy, 47, of Sequim was charged Sept. 1 with second-degree theft. According to court records, Kennedy allegedly stole $892 from a cash register at a Sequim business between May 7 and July 19.
Marcus Sessions – Sessions, 36, of Sequim was sentenced Sept. 2 for second-degree assault and DUI to 43 days in jail and 90 days of electronic home monitoring, five years probation, mental health treatment and $3,993 in fines and court costs and writing a letter of apology to the victim.
Shawn Colburn Germeaux – Germeaux, 34, Port Angeles was charged Sept. 1 with one count of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, delivery of marijuana and use of drug paraphernalia.
According to court records, Germeaux allegedly bought and used methamphetamine in August 2009 in violation of his confidential informant contract with the Sequim Police Department.
