Clallam County Fire District 3 will conduct a live fire training exercise from
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, on South Third Avenue in Sequim.
District personnel – including career staff, volunteers and those who recently have completed recruit training – will participate.
For some recruits, this will be their first experience with interior fire attack, said District 3 spokesman Robert Rhoads.
This exercise will involve search and rescue training and fire suppression tactics. It will end with the burning
of the remaining structure.
