The Clallam Transit System has installed bicycle lockers between Sequim and Port Angeles near the Owl Creek pedestrian underpass to assist daily bicycle commuters. Two new lockers, each with capacity for two bikes, were installed on the north side of U.S. Highway 101 at the bus stop at the intersection of the highway and Kitchen-Dick Road.

Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are intended for and only available to commuters over age 18 who regularly and consistently (three or more days in aggregate per week) commute part way by bicycle.

Users agree they are commuting part way on a bicycle and that the locker will be used only for storage of a bicycle and accessories.

Bicycle commuters retain the use of the locker for an indefinite period of time provided there have been no violations of the signed user agreement with Clallam Transit and a semi-annual renewal is complete, providing current user information.

A security and key deposit is required at the time the application is submitted. There is no monthly rental fee.

Applications are available on the Clallam Transit System website at www.clallamtransit.com or at the Clallam Transit System office in Port Angeles.
