The United Way of Clallam County announces it is more than half way to its 2016 fundraising campaign goal.
“So far, more than $419,000 has come in from individuals, businesses and special events,” said campaign chairman Sara Dutrow. “We’re extremely pleased at the results so far, but want to make sure donors know there is still time to make a year-end gift and help us reach our goal of $800,000,” added Dutrow, CEO of Olympic Veterinary Clinic.
“Donations to United Way are invested into the community via our 24 Partner Agencies whose work focuses on education, financial stability and health,” said Christy Smith, resource development manager of United Way of Clallam County.
Donations can be directed toward a specific nonprofit or placed in the community fund. With the exception of Dec. 23-26, gifts can be dropped off at United Way offices at 1601 E. Front St., Building 2, in Port Angeles or mailed to PO Box 937, Port Angeles WA 98362. Online donations can be made at www.unitedwayclallam.org or call 457-3011 for more information. The campaign ends March 31.
