Veterans Corner: Winter activities abound!

The Marine Corps League had a great response to its request for lap quilts for veterans in the area care facilities for Veterans Day. Many thanks to all who made or donated quilts. This year they want to expand the program to include every facility in Clallam County.

They will accept lap quilts all year and give them out on Veterans Day to show these folks that their service has not been forgotten and we care about them. Contact Sid at 417-3710 or sidjean6@gmail.com to get more information or donate a lap quilt.
