As crammed as the Sequim High School football stadium may be on Friday, there may be even more eyes on the peninsula football rivalry that night all across Western Washington.

Sequim and Port Angeles battle for playoff position Friday at 7 p.m., and the contest has been nominated for the Q13 Fox Varsity on Q13 High School Football Game of the Week, sponsored by Northwest Ford.

Q13 Fox Sports Director Aaron Levine will attend the winning game on Oct. 28 and feature the game during newscasts at 5 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The game will be determined by online voting only at www.q13fox.com/sports, on the right side of the page.

Polls officially close at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.

The game is one of six nominated prep football rivalries from across Westerns Washington.
