Join Olympic Peninsula Explorers at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the QFC, 990 E. Washington St., Sequim, for the John Wayne Marina Walk. Sign in before 9 a.m. There is a choice of a 7k or 12k walk. The 7k does not go to the marina and is rated 1A. The 12k is rated 2B. The walk is along country roads, the Olympic Discovery Trail through Carrie Blake Park and for the 12k down to John Wayne Marina. The walk is suitable for strollers and pets are OK as long as they are on a leash. Restrooms are along the route.
