World Trade Center, addictions topics of discussion

Jeffrey Yuhasz will speak at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. He is the former construction risk manager of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and in that capacity was responsible for obtaining financing for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center. Yuhasz will discuss his whistleblowing activity in that position, in which he discovered $58 million in overspent public funds.

Yuhasz is now one of four trained SMART Recovery facilitators in Washington and recently began leading meetings at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship for others struggling with addiction. He also will lead a session for anyone seeking additional information about overcoming addictions.

The Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is at 73 Howe Road, Agnew off North Barr Road between U.S. Highway 101 and Old Olympic Highway. For more information contact www.olympicuuf.org or 417-2665.
