Janelle Doolittle presents a free WOW! Working on Wellness Forum entitled “Cooking for One” at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim.
Doolittle is a licensed naturopathic physician who earned her doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle. She has a passion for food as medicine and has taken extra courses in nutrition and “whole food cooking.” She has participated in research on eating behaviors and their impact on health and has written an article on mindful eating.
The purpose of this presentation is to equip participants with tools for the journey of “Cooking for One” and to help convince them that being thoughtful about nutrition and eating well is an important part of good self-care.
WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic—Sequim’s free clinic.
