No one was injured but one driver is facing charges following a
Wednesday morning collision at U.S. Highway 101 and Kitchen-Dick Road
that briefly shut down the center turn lane.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a Toyota Camry driven by
Linda M. Schulz, 58, Sequim pulled out from the intersection and struck
the driver’s side of a Honda Insight driven by Nancy L. Bolan, 74,
Sequim.
No one was injured, including a passenger in the Honda, Amy J. Bolan, 45, Lakewood. Both cars were towed.
Schulz was cited for failure to yield. The case also was referred to
the county prosecutor for charges against Schulz of driving without an
ignition interlock device and third-degree driving while license
suspended.
