Sequim resident Danny A. McDonald died May 23, 2014, in Port Angeles at the age of 79. Graveside services were held July 3.

He was born July 25, 1934, to Arthur and Caroline (Philip) McDonald in Belfast, Ireland. He moved the U.S. and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He married his wife Eva in 1964 at Raymond.

He had owned his own logging truck and also was the assistant manager of Suncrest I and Suncrest II for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife Eva; sons David McDonald of Brother, Calif., and Donald Perkinson of Sequim; daughters Tina Marie Walker of Sequim and Leona Buttram of Bear Creek; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
