Port Angeles resident Davey Lynn Schmidt died Oct. 26, 2015, in Port Angeles at the age of 70.

Schmidt was born in Billings, Montana, beloved spouse of Gloria Cerney and sister of Pamela Smith of Kenmare, North Dakota.

?She was a graduate of University of Washington and Washington State University.

Davey was a gifted athlete, coach, artist, and educator.
