Fred J. Marty

April 25, 1926 – April 29, 2016

Fred J. Marty passed away on April 29th, 2016 at 90 years old. Born April 25th, 2016 in Renton, WA., by Swiss immigrants Antone and Josephine Marty. Graduated from Kent High School. Worked for Northwest Airlines as equipment serviceman until retirement in 1988.

Married Ellen Perry in 1951 and is survived by his three children; Tony, Terry and Fred Jr.

Moved to Port Angeles after retirement. Founding member of Washington Old Time Fiddlers. Played guitar and banjo and was well known for his yodeling.
