Jane “Juana” Miller, of Sequim, passed away on April 18, 2014, at the age of 91 from natural causes.
She was born in Billings, Montana on May 13, 1922 to Charles A. and Hattie (Johnson) Quire.
Juana graduated from Eastman School of Music where she majored in music and had a minor in history.
She married James Miller on January 15, 1957 in Reno, Nevada. The couple were together until his passing on July 25, 1987.
She lived in Spokane; Berkley, California; and Tucson, Arizona, where she worked as a bookkeeper, housewife and mother. She was active in the Boys and Girls Club in Sequim and Tucson and loved having foreign exchange students through Rotary International.
She loved to knit, needlepoint, and traveled all around the world. She also loved to play bridge and was a dedicated Sunday School teacher.
She leaves behind her son, Roger “Rick” Miller, of California; 2 grandsons; 4 great-grandchildren; and her adopted families in Sequim and Tucson.
