Sequim resident Joseph E. Baron died Dec. 30, 2015, in Sequim at the age of 95. A memorial service to honor his life and a military service is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St. in Kent. He received Bronze Stars for serving in World War II and the Korean War. He was born May 18, 1920, in Norquay, Saskatchewan, Canada.
