Ella Dorothea Stolte Mueller
November 17, 1932-October 23, 2022
Sequim resident Ella Mueller, 89, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 23rd.
Ella was born November 17, 1932, in Gifford, ID, to Henry and Emma Stolte. She attended Melrose School and graduated from Rubens High School in 1950. Ella later attended nursing school, graduating as an R.N. in 1954. While living in Seattle, WA, she met her husband of 53 years, James Mueller. They were married on April 19, 1958. The couple had a short stay in Sioux Falls, SD and then moved to the Portland, OR area where she spent the next thirty years working as a nurse and raising a family.
Ella enjoyed quilting, traveling, and working in her yard. After retirement, she volunteered at homeless shelters, food kitchens, food banks, and church functions. In 2018, Ella relocated from Gresham, OR to Sequim, WA.
Survivors include her son Randy Mueller of Lakewood, WA; daughter Lori Curtin of Port Angeles, WA; sister Henrietta Brooks of Oregon City, OR; brother Walter Stolte of Rio Rancho, NM; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
The family extends gratitude to The Fifth Avenue Independent Living Facility, Ridgeline Homecare Cooperative, and Asante Adult Family Home for the love and kindness they showed Ella.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., February 18, 2023, at Sequim Community Church in Sequim, WA. Donations may be given in glory to God, and in memory of Ella’s life, to Sequim Community Church.
Gwyen Paulette Boger
Gwyen Paulette Boger died peacefully in her Sunland home December 9, 2022 at the age of 88 of cancer.
Mrs. Boger was born Aug. 3, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa.
She married Robert L Boger on June 5, 1953.
They moved to Sequim from Beaverton, Oregon in 1999.She was a longtime member of the Sunland Golf and Country Club, where she was a member of the “Ladies Niners” and acted as president for several years. She loved bowling and was a master bridge player and played bridge and golf right up to her death.
Survivors include Danette Bemis, Daughter and husband Steve, Dorene Vasquez, Daughter and husband Ken, Diane Lee and Husband Tom, Sister Darlene Graham and Brother Dennis Bigham, grandchildren Robert Lee, Ravi Bemis, Katie and Michael Lee.
There will be no services.
Charles (Charlie) Skinner
November 16th, 2022
Charles (Charlie) Skinner passed away suddenly but peacefully on November 16th, 2022. A true raconteur, Charles was born in Dundee in 1941 and after earning a degree in electrical engineering from Dundee Institute of Technology, he left Scotland to work overseas and to begin a career that enabled him to see the world. He lived and worked in some fascinating countries during the most interesting times, before finally settling in Sequim, Washington. Charles was also an avid golfer, a passion he pursued from childhood. He had a gift for making friends, his stories of his life were a treat, delivered with excellent comic timing, usually accompanied by a pint of Guinness.
Reflecting his travels, Charles is survived by family all over the world; his brother Hugh in England, his sister Wilma in Canada, daughters Karen and Jacqui, grandchildren Jamie, Lisa and Chloe in Scotland and sons Alexander and Duncan in the US. Charles was also blessed to be with his loving partner, Sylvia, at the time of his passing. Charles was cremated in accordance with his wishes and a celebration of life will be held 1 pm, on January 14th, 2023 at Sequim Community Church, for those that wish to attend.
Sharon Kay Jensen
Sharon Kay Jensen of Sequim died at Olympic Medical Center on Dec. 8, 2022.
Jensen, former owner and veterinarian at Blue Mountain Animal Hospital, was 68.
She was born July 1, 1954.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

Chantal Josette Jouannet-Woleslager
Chantal Josette Jouannet-Woleslager of Sequim died at Sequim Health & Rehabilitation on Dec. 16, 2022.
She was 77.
Jouannet-Woleslager was born Jan. 31, 1945.
