Sharon Hunter

Sharon Louise Hunter, aged 80, residing in Sequim, WA, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, on February 14, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.

Sharon grew up in Santa Barbara, CA. She graduated college in California. As owner of a travel agency, she traveled extensively and enjoyed her visits to the South Pacific and Europe.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Richard.

No funeral services are planned. Donations may be made in her name to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County.

Joan Love Promer

Joan Love Promer, age 85 of Sequim, Washington died Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in Seattle with her family by her side. Joan was born in Bradford, Tennessee. She then relocated to Lansing, Michigan where she met her loving husband of 67 years, Darwin. They then moved to California and raised four loving children, Michael Darwin, Mark Robert, John Anthony, and Sandra Mai. She was a caring grandmother to Jonathon, Melanie, Samantha, Victor, Mason and Great Grandmother to Max, Reese, and Kinsley. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Darwin. She will be greatly missed and remembered.

Elizabeth “Joey” Dawson died at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle on Feb. 8, 2025.

She was 82.

Dawson was born Jan. 15, 1943 in Sequim.

Robert Herman Sester died at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle on Feb. 11, 2025.

He was 78.

Sester was born Aug. 1, 1946.

A private family service will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery.
