Donna Lea Pearson

Donna Lea Pearson of Sequim, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, at Dungeness Courte in Sequim, Washington, just a few days after her 97th birthday.
Donna was born September 30, 1927, in Bellingham, Washington. Donna knew she was adopted, and later in life found her birth mother, Mary Etta Dean Randall, who by that time had passed away. She also had four half-sisters.
On June 30, 1946, Donna married the love of her life, Lloyd Eric Pearson. For a period, Lloyd and Donna lived in Whatcom County where they ran a dairy farm. In 1960, they moved to Sequim, where Lloyd worked as a Park Ranger at Sequim Bay State Park until 1985 when he retired from the park service. Donna and Lloyd remained in Sequim up until their deaths. Her last wish in the days preceding her death, was to be re-united with her husband Lloyd.
Donna lived at Dungeness Courte and Memory Care in Sequim, Washington for the past year and a half, where she made an impact on many lives. She loved the Lord with all her heart and devoted herself to various ministries such as teaching Sunday School and VBS and was a church deaconess until she physically could not. She was also a member of DAR.
An avid seamstress, quilter, knitter and organist, Donna spent many years creating many beautiful works of art.
She is survived by daughters Laurie Davies of Sequim, WA and Kerri Kalbfleisch of Lynnwood, WA and son Mark Pearson of Palm Springs, CA. Other survivors include her four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd in 2013; both parents and her birth mother, Mary Etta Dean Randall.
Donna will be laid to rest beside her husband Lloyd at Sequim View Cemetery. A private Memorial Service will be held in the future.

Rudolph “Rudy” A. Marquez of Sequim died at Avamere Olympic Rehab of Sequim on Oct. 6, 2024.
He was 80.
Marquez was born May 26, 1944.
