Marjorie Louise Partridge
As a resident of Port Angeles & for over 35 years, Mrs. Partridge died in Sequim on August 29, 2022.
She was born on September 20, 1933 to Margaret Catherine Friedly and Theodore William Barlow in Detroit, Michigan.
She was a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in Library Science. In addition to being a visiting professor at the University of Michigan she was both a public Librarian and a school librarian for twenty five years in Michigan.
Her interests covered many areas from clock collecting, sewing, miniatures, knitting, and quilting. For many years she knitted hats for the newborn babies at Olympic Memorial Hospital.
She married Charles Victor Partridge in Southfield, Michigan on June 30, 1962.
She was a member of Clallam County Genealogical society and Historical Society, the Port Angeles Friends of the Public Library and the Friends of the Fine Arts Center.
She also was a member of the National Association of Clock and Watch Collectors and the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts.
She is survived by her brother Jerry Barlow of Rockville, MD.
She joins her husband, who passed away on February 5, 2021, on the flight west into the sunset.
