Sequim resident Robert E. Suits Sr. died Jan. 10, 2014, in Sequim at the age of 89. Inurnment was held in his honor at Mount Angeles Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 16, 1924, in Douglass, Kan., to Roy and Edna (Ingold) Suits. He served in the Navy for 12 years and was a resident of Sequim for 32 years.

He is survived by a sister, Bonnie Pegg of Ponca City, Okla.; a brother Bryan Suits of Seattle, a son Bob Suits Jr. of Vancouver; and a niece, Reagan Suits of Seattle.
