Alex Barry sank three free throws to send the 13th West Sound Senior High School Basketball game into overtime, but Team Puget Sound wound up knocking off a Team Cascade squad featuring Sequim High’s Barry and Vance Willis 65-61 anyway on March 17 in Bremerton.

Barry finished with 11 points, second on the team behind Bainbridge’s Oskar Dieterich; Willis was held scoreless.

Barry also competed in the Hot Spot shooting competition, finishing second to North Kitsap’s Ethan Graebner.

In the girls game, Sequim’s Caitlin Stofferahn had three points and eight rebounds while SHS teammate Victoria Cummins added two points, but Team Cascade fell to Team Puget Sound, 52-43.
