The North Olympic Basketball Officials Association hosts its first meeting of the new season at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

All returning and new officials are asked to attend.

New officials need no experience as training will be provided, association officials said.

The association provides basketball officials for all schools on the North Olympic Peninsula for both boys and girls games, from junior high/middle school through high school.

Officials receive games fees and a travel stipend (when applicable).
