A strong second half helped Sequim’s boys basketball squad shrug off a five-game losing streak and pick up its first league win of the season on Dec. 16.
The Wolves (1-4 in Olympic League, 2-5 overall) got 15 points each from Keenan Green and Isaiah Moore in the 61-50 victory over the visiting North Mason Bulldogs.
Green hit a trio of 3-pointers in a key fourth quarter (and five overall) that saw Sequim turn a 41-37 lead into an 11-point victory.
Jayden Possin added three free throws in the fourth to seal the win.
Pryce Glasser and Tyler Mooney had eight points each and Possin chipped in seven.
Andrew Littrean led North Mason with 20 points, 14 of those in the second half.
