Sequim’s boys found themselves on one end of a blowout on Friday night and the other an evening later.
The Wolves (1-1) opened their season with a dominating, 64-33 win at Klahowya on Dec. 5.
Alex Barry led Sequim with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Payton Glasser had 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting, Jackson Oliver had seven points and three steals, and Bailey Earley chipped in seven points and four rebounds.
The Wolves had 16 steals.
Sequim led 25-7 after one quarter and 40-15 at the half before turning over much of the rest of the game to reserves.
Ryan Gotchall and Ricky Holguin led Klahowya with nine points each.
Sequim’s junior varsity squad edged the JV Eagles squad, 24-22.
On Dec. 6, Sequim fell behind 14-0 and despite closing the gap to seven points before the half simply couldn’t recover in a 73-42 non-league loss at Kentridge.
Barry led the Wolves with 20 points, breaking the opening scoring drought with a 3-pointer. He finished 3-of-8 from beyond the arc and had team highs with six rebounds and five steals.
Earley, Dustin Bates and Vance Willis had five points each for Sequim.
Kentridge’s Joran Ticeson led all scorers with 24 points as the Chargers (2-0) held Sequim to 35 percent shooting and forced 19 Wolves turnovers.
The Wolves were scheduled to play their first Olympic League game against Bremerton on Dec. 9.
Sequim hosts Mount Tahoma on Dec. 11 and Port Townsend on Dec. 15.
