Sequim’s boys tennis team dominated all seven matches in a 7-0 sweep at home against Kingston on Oct. 5.
Garrett Little improved to 10-0 on the season with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles against Jonny Fortenbacher. Jack Crecilius topped Kingston’s Josh Van Huis 6-4, 6-0, and Mason Rapelje topped Ryan Steele 6-0 and 6-0.
In doubles play, William Hughes and Tom Laschet Kingston’s Riley Liebold and Clayton Walker 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, while Lincoln Bear and Hutner Tennell also won in two sets, 6-2 and 6-3, over Ben Decker and Aiden Mattson.
Sebastian Buhrer and Isaac McKeen won at No. 3 doubles, a 6-2, 6-0 win over Paul Fitch and Alex Markeryan, and SHS’s Zach Post and Ryan Stites earned their first win of the season with a 6-2 and 6-3 victory over Levi Boyd and Evan Warr.
Sequim (5-6) was scheduled to compete against Olympic on Oct. 9.
The Wolves cap the regular season on Oct. 11 at home against Port Angeles.
The Olympic League tournament is set for Oct. 20 and 21 in Poulsbo. The West Central District tourney is Oct. 27-28 at the Bremerton Tennis and Racquet Club.
