Hannah Hudson, a sophomore at Olympic College, helped her 4×400-meter relay squad take first place at the University of Puget Sound’s Peyton Invite (track and field) on March 26.
Hudson led off for the Rangers, who edged South Puget Sound by 0.01 of a second with a 4:09.17 mark. Hudson’s 4×100 relay team took third (50.76) and she placed fourth in the 400-meter race, crossing the finish in 62.61 seconds.
Overall, Olympic took fourth place in the eight-team invitational.
Hudson is a 2014 Sequim High graduate and former track and field and volleyball standout.
She competed in several racing events for the Olympic Rangers on the track last spring as well, helping Olympic place fourth in both 4×100 and 4×400 relay events at the 2015 NWAC championships.
