Hannah Hudson is a sophomore defensive star with Olympic College’s Rangers, leading the team in digs. The Rangers were 2-3 in conference play (tied for fourth in the North Region) and 12-15 overall after last week’s three-set win against Edmonds.
She was named the North Division’s Defensive Player of the Week in week one of the 2015 season.
In 2014, Hudson’s freshman year, the Rangers went 12-0 to win the North Region (31-8 overall) and went 3-2 at the NWAC tournament. Hudson played in 71 conference games and was the team’s No. 2 defender and No. 3 server.
Hudson is a 2014 graduate of Sequim High. She was named the Olympic League’s Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2013, leading the team in defense and was one of the team’s top servers. She was an all-league libero as a junior and all-league honorable mention as a sophomore in Sequim.
