Olympic Peninsula Explorers invite all walkers to the group’s first walk of the new year, set for Jan. 1 at Robin Hill County Farm.
The 5- or 10-kilometer walk is along the Discovery Trail, is paved and is usable for those bringing strollers. Walk from the Robin Hill Farm west toward Port Angeles, passing several working farms on the way.
The walk is free unless you want credit from the American Volkssport Association.
There are portable toilets along the way.
All walkers must sign up at the QFC store, 990B E. Washington St., in Sequim. The group will leave for the start point at 9 a.m.
