Sequim’s girls varsity basketball squad ended their season with a win in Bremerton to finish 3-11 in the Olympic League and 4-14 overall.
The Wolves won 57-33 on Feb. 10 over the Knights who had a tough season (0-14, 0-16).
Sequim coach Joclin Julmist said “the girls played well and had fun (and) were able to make a few baskets.”
Gracie Chartraw led the Wolves with 16 points, and sank two three-pointers to go along with recording two steals, two rebounds and two assists.
Senior Libby Turella rounded out the box score with 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Julmist complimented her strong defense to end the season and said the team will miss its seniors, including Taylor Heyting who grabbed a team-high 16 rebounds and made five steals.
He also thanked exchange student and guard Manuela Valle Jover for her commitment to teammates and the program. She had five points and four steals for the Wolves.
Junior Hailey Wagner also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
