Senior midfielder Hannah Wagner and sophomore striker Taryn Johnson paced Sequim High’s girls soccer squad this season, earning all-Olympic League honors in the process.
League coaches named the pair along with eight other North Olympic Peninsula players to all-league teams in mid-November.
Sequim sophomore defender Kaia Lestage was a second-team choice for the Wolves, as was freshman midfielder Ivy Barret.
Johnson had six hat tricks on her way to a team-high 24 goals and added eight assists, while Wagner had 19 goals and a team-high 12 assists, leading the Wolves to an 11-6 mark and falling short of the state tourney by just one game.
Port Angeles head coach Scott Moseley was tabbed as Coach of the Year after leading the Roughriders to a class 2A Olympic League title and a state tournament berth. First-team honorees for Port Angeles included junior midfielder Anna Petty, senior goalkeeper Saylah Commerton and senior forward Bailee Larson.
Kingston goalkeeper Leighton Menge was named the league’s MVP.
