Sequim’s girls tennis team moved to 4-1 on the season with wins over Port Angeles (2-5) and Klahowya (2-4).
In Port Angeles, the Wolves won four matches to three on March 28 with No. 1 singles player Karen Chan winning 6-1, 6-2 over Audrey Little and No. 2 player Stephanie LaCour winning in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 over Maddy Woods.
The Wolves’ Teá Gauthun won 7-5, 6-4 over Claire Fritschler and Sequim doubles team Katey Wake and Hanna D’Amico won in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, over Patricia Polo and Emily Trauber.
In Silverdale, the Wolves won 5-2 over the Eagles on March 30 with D’Amico shifting to play No. 2 singles and win 6-4, 6-1, while Gauthun won again at No. 3 singles 6-3, 7-5.
Sequim’s Karen Chan and Stephanie LaCour won 6-4, 6-2 as the No. 1 doubles team along with Isabelle Hugonoit and Melissa Copeland 6-3, 7-5, and Ashley Rosales and Amanda He 6-1, 6-2.
After Spring Break, the Wolves host Chimacum on April 11, travel to Kingston on April 12 and host North Kitsap on April 13 and Kingston on April 15.
