On Sept. 14, The Cedars at Dungeness held the golf course’s first “Long Drive” competition.
Participants included residents from the Olympic Peninsula and several from the Seattle area.
In the Men’s Open Division, Ro Cornelio won with a 330-yard drive, longest of the day in any category.
Kevin Osborn was second at 322 yards and Matt Eveland was third at 301 yards.
In the Women’s Division, Stacy Poitress (231 yards) took top honors while Kellie Antilock (226 yards) was second.
In the Men’s Senior Division, Bruce Evans (302 yards) took first followed by Gary Kettel (277 yards) and Rob Botero (276 yards).
Caitlin Stofferahn was the Junior Division winner with a 210-yard drive.
