The Clallam County Orcas were well represented at the Southwest Regional Basketball tournament in Kitsap County in early February.

Three Orcas teams participated. The Skills Team earned a fourth place ribbon.

The Seniors level team, consisting of players ranging in age from 10-21, survived a three-overtime game to reach the finals. Despite a loss in the finals, the Senior team took home the silver medal.

The Orcas’ Masters Team won four games in a decisive manner, earning a gold medal and the opportunity to compete at the Winter Games, held the first weekend of March in Wenatchee.
