The Peninsula College Pirate men and women soccer teams make their home debut — their “Kickoff Day” — on Saturday, Sept. 5, against North Idaho at Sigmar Field, where fans will be treated to a free hot dog barbecue, as well as a mini-soccer ball giveaway.
Other special events on the calendar include:
• “Community Day” is Sept. 19, when youths 17-under are encouraged to wear their youth soccer jerseys or high school jerseys, to gain free admission for the entire family. That match against Skagit Valley also includes a water bottle giveaway.
• On Oct. 3, Pirate fans will enjoy a “White Out Game,” where P.C. students receive free white Pirate Proud T-shirts; community members may buy them for $5.
• Oct. 17 is “Rally Day,” where Pirate fans receive free Pirate rally towels (while supplies last).
• Oct. 28 is “Sophomore Day,” when Pirate sophomores will be honored in their final home regular season match.
Admission to Pirate home games is $4 for adults, $2 for seniors, veterans and youths age 13-17 and free to children 12-under. Season passes for soccer will be available at the gate of all home games for $30 adults and $15 for seniors (55-over), veterans and youths, while fans also can purchase a Pirate Pass, good for admission to both soccer and basketball home games. The Pirate Pass is $80 for adults and $40 seniors, veterans and youths.
The Pirate Athletic Association also has a number of booster and sponsorship packages available to fans and most of them come with season tickets.
