Registration is now open for two September sports events, both presented by Peninsula Adventure Sports and Title Sponsor Mittelstaedt Chiropractic.

The Great Olympic Adventure Trail Run (GOAT Run), a half marathon and full marathon trail run, takes place Sept. 17. The full marathon course is the entire length of the Adventure Trail, from east to west, ending at Log Cabin Resort on Lake Crescent.

Registration also is now open for the Big Hurt multi-sport race on Sept. 24. Consisting of four legs – mountain bike, kayak, road bike and run – athletes can do all four legs solo in Iron Division or form a relay team of up to four participants.

There will be a kick-off party at Harbinger Winery from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, for interested folks to meet the race directors, ask questions, sign up or find team members.
