Sequim riders tackle competition in Tacoma

A resolute Sequim High equestrian team slogged through a rain-soaked second meet

A resolute Sequim High equestrian team slogged through a rain-soaked second meet of the season, coming home with 18 top-five finishes following the Feb. 26-29 meet in Tacoma.

"All the riders added extra classes to support the team," coach Terri Winters said.

Each Sequim rider participated in the Team Sorting event, the first time in team history.
