Sequim. Goalie Teva Freitas of Port Angeles had four saves. Head coach Lee Biladeau praised defense of Sequim’s Bailey King, Matthew Warner and Adam Defilippo. The win helps the Mountaineers improve to 2-1.

Hoops camp on tap

The Peninsula Men’s basketball team staff and Port Angeles Parks & Recreation are combining efforts for a basketball camp. Drills and games focus on shooting, passing, dribbling and other skills. Soccer season set

The City of Port Angeles’ Park and Recreation District hosts the IFC adult coed soccer league this spring. The season, open to men and women 18 years old or older begins April 6, with games played on Sundays at Peninsula College’s Wally Sigmar Field. Cost is $55 per player. Registration packets are at the recreation office at 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

B&G clubs put on annual golf tourney

The 23rd Golf Tournament and FUNdraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula is scheduled for Friday, May 9, at Sunland Golf & Country Club.

Sequim hosts summer soccer camp

This summer, Sequim Junior Soccer Club again teams up with UK Elite Soccer to provide players and coaches for a UK Elite Soccer Camp and School, Aug. 11-15. The camp for players ages 5-8 and 8-14 is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon. Cost is $140. The camp for ages 3-5 is scheduled for 12:15-1:30 p.m. daily, with the cost $100.
