Ron Quigley of Sequim sank his first hole-in-one on hole No. 4 at The Cedars at Dungeness on July 8.
Quigley used an Adams 6 hybrid club to drive the 150-yard fourth hole.

Gymnastics group offers summer camps
The Port Angeles-based Klahhane Gymnastics has openings available for Fun & Fit gymnastics camps for youths in grades 1-5 this summer.
Camps are July 20-22 and July 27-29. Camps meet 12:30-3 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.
Cost is $60 for Klahhane members or $70 for new students. All abilities welcome and no previous gymnastics experience is necessary.
Registration for Fun & Fit camps closes at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, for the July 20 camp, and at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, for the July 27 camp.
Tennis camp seeks helpers
The Sequim Boys & Girls Club annual summer tennis camp is set for 9 a.m.-noon each weekday, July 19-30. Volunteers, coaches and assistants are needed.

‘Dawg’ volleyball camp set
The annual Junkyard Dawg Volleyball Camp is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 28-31 at the Sequim High School gymnasium, 601 N. Sequim Ave.
The camp is open to girls entering grades 7-12 this fall who want to learn volleyball or improve their skills.
The $240 fee includes a camp shirt and a player handbook.

Horse gaming show is set for July 24
The County Mounty’s 4-H Horse Club and the Jefferson County 4-H Horse Program host an open western gaming show on Saturday, July 24, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Port Townsend.
Western games begin at 10 a.m. Early-bird pricing for classes are $4 each if postmarked by July 19 with an additional dollar per class after July 19 and day of show.

SkyRidge’s British Open all set
SkyRidge Golf Course (7015 Old Olympic Highway) hosts the Clallam Links British Open on Sunday, July 18.
Lunch is at noon and tee times begin at about 1 p.m.
The first 40 paid players signed up are in. Cost is $50 – $25 for golf, $25 for honey pot – and the fee includes range balls and lunch.
