Sequim Junior Soccer registration set
Registration for Sequim Junior Soccer’s spring leagues is open at https://tinyurl.com/PDN-SJS25.
Practices are held Monday through Friday with days and times set by individual coaches.
Hour-long practices typically run during the 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. time frame.
U5/6 and U7/8 teams will practice once a week, U10 and U12 practice twice a week and U15 practice twice a week for 90 minutes. Practices cannot start any earlier than 4 p.m.
All games will be played on Saturdays starting April 12 at the Albert Haller Playfields in Sequim, with the exception of the first two Saturdays in May due to the Sequim Irrigation Festival.
A modified schedule will be released for the first two weeks in May prior to the season starting.
You will be notified by the Registrar with the exact details.
The Mini Ballers league for kids born between April 2, 2021, and May 31, 2022, are held on Saturday only and start on April 26.
Mini Ballers registration is $45, U5 through U15 registrations are $75.

Little League hosts preseason training, assessments
Sequim Little League hosts a free preseason training camp from noon-3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Jan. 18-19 in the Carrie Blake Community Park ball fields, 202 N. Blake Ave.
It will cover calisthenics, fielding drills, infield drills and more to get baseball and softball players back into the swing of playing ball before our skills assessments.
Families are encouraged to register through a form at sequimlittleleague.com.
Players should bring cleats, a glove and a water bottle.
• Registration is open for players, coaches, umpires and volunteers for T-ball to seniors at the website.
• A T-Mobile Grant is available to families that need assistance with the registration fees with more information on the league’s website.
• New this year is a Hybrid Coach Pitch Softball Program for first and second year (ages 7 and 8) that teaches the fundamentals of the game at a lower level than minors.
• Skills Assessments will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 at James Standard Park, 124 W. Silberhorn Road. All baseball players ages 9-12, and softball players ages 9-16 must attend one of the two sessions to be evaluated for placement on a team.
