Anglers to talk razor clamming

Members of the Puget Sound Anglers’ North Olympic Peninsula Chapter will be hosting an open to the public general meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road. People start gathering at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.

With the winter razor clamming openers starting this month, the meeting’s guest speakers are Ken Townsend and Dave Croonquist, who will share their tips and techniques for razor clamming.

After their presentation, the club will have a short business meeting, fishing reports and raffle drawings. The raffles are for members only, though a person can join the chapter at the meeting to participate in the raffles. An annual individual membership is $25, and a family membership is $35. Any new and renewal dues paid also apply toward one’s 2025 membership. A subscription to The Reel News monthly newspaper is included as a membership bonus.
