Golf group honors top players, sets officers

At their final business meeting of the season, the Cedars at Dungeness Women’s Golf Association, lauded their top players for 2024 and set their officers for 2025.

Player honors went to: Low Monthly Medal Gross, Linda Hash (79); Low Monthly Medal Net, Ann Rosecrants (66); Most Improved, Hash; Most Birdies, Marine Hirschfeld; Most Eagles, Hirschfeld; Most Chip-ins, Kathy Langston (six times); Ringer Low Gross, Hirschfeld (62); and, Ringer Low Net, Rosecrantz (66)

Officers for 2025 will be: Judy Reno, Captain; Cathy Grant, Co-Captain; Lynnette Sheriff, Secretary; Anne Elwell. Treasurer; and, Marlene Erickson, Past Captain. Committee Chairpersons for 2025 will be: Competition, Pat Harrop; Tournament, Yoon Park; GHIN/Handicap, Wanda Synnestvedt; and, Rules, Linda Hash.

The official start date for the 2025 season will be March 1.
